In the Wilmington Marine Center, 3410 River Road, Wilmington, NC 28412

The Cape Fear River Rowing Club (CFRRC) is located at Wilmington Marine Center (WMC), a gated and secure location for our rowers. It is situated 1.4 miles south of the State Port main gate, on River Road.

DIRECTIONS

Out of town:  From I-40 or Rts. 17/74/76, follow the signs to the North Carolina State Ports. When you get to the State Ports entrance, turn left (south) on River Road. We’re 1.5 miles on the right.

In town:  Take Independence Blvd west until it dead-ends at River Road. Turn right and we are one mile north, on the left.

FACILITIES

Rowers launch from a floating dock and row in protected waters of the lower Cape Fear River where they are surrounded by the flora and fauna of the area. CFRRC offers a canopy style boathouse that provides shelter for private and club boats. Located on a grassy ridge overlooking the river, the site is ideal for club activities, training, social gatherings, and sunsets!

The fleet of boats ranges from recreational single sculling shells to several eight-man rowing shells. The club also owns 75 feet of floating dock, a boat trailer and a full complement of oars.
