General Rules of Conduct
- Membership
A waiver must be signed declaring the Cape Fear River Rowing Club
(CFRRC), our landlord and U.S. Rowing free of liability. The
waiver must be signed be all who row from the boathouse: prospective and
certified members as well as guests.
To use club owned equipment a member must complete two or three
introductory lessons supervised be an adult member who has been approved
as an instructor by the Board of Directors. Dues must be paid on time to
remain a member of good standing. Boathouse keys will be issued to each
new member upon completion of lessons and payment of club dues.
- Use of the Boat House
The use of the boathouse and dock are for rowing purposes
only. Any other use will be by the consent of the membership and the
landlord.
- Junior Members
Junior members aged 16-21 may use the facilities and equipment as stated
above provided written consent has been obtained from parent or
guardian. Members younger than 16 years of age must be accompanied by an
adult or guardian.
- Alcoholic Beverages
No Alcoholic Beverages are allowed on the premises of the boathouse
and grounds. In the case of a Club event approval must be obtained from
the Membership and the Landlord.
